Gerard Erley: Landscape and Floral Paintings

This art exhibit was on display March 17 - May 2, 2014

g erley

This exhibition of Gerard Erley's oil paintings presents two distinct bodies of work, landscapes and floral compositions. All of Erley's works are characterized by his use of expressive color, light and brushwork. In his landscapes, Erley states "What I hope to realize in paint is something both poetic and persuasively real.", while he considers his floral paintings as "not unlike a jazz improvisation on a given melody."
